Minister Jerri Flippen has worn many hats! She is a published writer with “Advancing Philanthropy” Magazine, a public television award-winning documentary filmmaker, a “Dress for Success” coach for deaf business women (assisted by sign language translator), a successful grant writer who raised over $60,000 as employee for a non-profit, a highly respected office manager, U.S. Coordinator for the Certification of Vascular Surgeons, a Registered Trademark holder with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, internationally traveled missionary to Uganda, Scholarship winner, holder of multiple certificates and educational awards, but, most importantly, a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Currently, Minister Flippen preaches, teaches, writes and coordinates ministry affairs through Higher Ground Temple COGIC in Camden, New Jersey serving as Executive Administrator and Minister under the leadership of Superintendent and Pastor, E.M. Barron. Minister Jerri believes that she has been called to declare the good news of the gospel by pointing to the triumph and victory of Jesus Christ who was born, died, resurrected and now sits on the right hand of the Father. The Lord has placed within her heart a desire to see His people laid to rest in a way that appropriately acknowledges Christ’s ultimate sacrifice. Thanks to Jesus, to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Co. 5:8).
She has many favorite scriptures, but the one she most often quotes is Micah 6:8: He hath shewed thee, O’ Man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? With that thought in mind, she is owner of Humble Walk, LLC.
To God be the Glory!
Minister Jerri Flippen
